Information security compliance

As a company leading advanced materials technology, LT Metal treats information security and cyber security management as essential to maintaining the trust of customers and stakeholders and to running the business without interruption, and drives it firmly across the company. We have established and operate information security policies and management guidelines to keep all of the company's information assets secure, including personal information, customer information, and internal confidential material. Employees strictly observe applicable laws and internal security rules when handling information; unauthorized viewing, copying, and external transmission are prohibited, and technical and physical security controls are in place to prevent information leakage.

Information security management

Security management framework and rules

  • Security rules and policies
Our security management rules and privacy policy are formally documented and posted on the groupware system and internal bulletin boards so that employees can consult them at any time. These rules set the standards for protecting information assets and personal information, and are revised continuously to keep pace with the current security environment.
  • Building a security culture
We post information security issues and rules on the intranet each month to raise information security awareness across the workforce and to make security part of everyday practice.

Technical security systems and data management

  • Access control and log management
Firewalls control access to the internal network, and system access logs are reviewed regularly to keep unauthorized access attempts under close watch.
  • Data protection and encryption
Database encryption software is installed and operated to prevent unauthorized leakage or alteration of core databases.
  • Regular backup system
Regular backups, including one automated backup per day, guard against data loss and secure the availability and continuity of critical information.

Information security training

LT Metal runs regular information security training, led by the IT Technology Security Team, to protect information assets and strengthen cyber security response. The training covers security audit findings, network configuration, software management, information asset management, and recent incident cases, with a focus on building practical response capability. All employees also receive training on everyday information security practices, prevention of internal information leakage, and handling phishing emails. Twice a year we take part in cyber crisis response simulation drills organized by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) to strengthen our ability to respond to actual security incidents.
