Carbon neutrality target

To manage the business risks of climate change, LT Metal has declared a 2050 carbon neutrality target and set out a roadmap defining its transition pathway and reduction measures, applying the SBTi 2.0 °C scenario. We plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 35% by 2034 against the 2024 base year and to reach carbon neutrality in 2050. To meet the target, we will expand GHG reduction activities including energy audits and efficiency projects, wider adoption of electric vehicles, and a shift to renewable energy. In line with our RE100 goal, we also plan to install more on-site solar power and to purchase Green Premium electricity.
